1. Data we process

The content of your consultation: country of origin, destination, reason and the messages you exchange with the consultant.

Payment data sent to us by PayPal: transaction identifier, amount, and the payer's email and country. We use that email to send you the access link to your consultation. We do not receive your card details.

Minimal technical data: an irreversible hash of your IP address to prevent abuse, and your language preference.

If you are a lawyer and create a profile in the directory: the professional details you publish (name, practice areas, city, licence) are public; your WhatsApp is shown only while the button is active, and your email is never published.

2. What we use it for

To provide the service and let you resume your consultation, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to improve the quality of the answers.

We write public FAQ entries based on consultations. They are rewritten generically and without personal data before being published.

3. Who we share it with

With the providers we need to operate: the technology providers that process conversations to generate the answers; PayPal, which processes payments; and our hosting and database providers. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

4. How long we keep it

Unpaid consultations are deleted after 30 days. Paid consultations are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your consultation at any time.

5. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your data by writing to us with your consultation code, which is what lets us identify it.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use a cookie with your language preference, and your browser's local storage to remember your consultations on that device. If you accept, we also use Google Analytics to measure, in aggregate, how the site is used; it is never loaded on your consultation pages. We do not use advertising cookies.

7. Sensitive information

Avoid including document numbers, bank details or other information that is not needed for the consultation. The service is intended for people aged 18 or over.
